1947? Yes, the year is correct and a connection with the Roswell incident is often made and discussed, but there is no evidence for this.
If we believe in the alleged Anunnaki message published in the November-December 1958 issues of Flying Saucer Magazine, the ancient Anunnaki existed on Earth in the distant past.
According to Brinsley Le Poer Trench, the editor of the Flying Saucer Review, the alleged alien message first appeared in a 1947 issue of Fanatic Stories written by an author under the pseudonym “Alexander Blade”.
The article, which many believe to be proof of the existence of the ancient Anunnaki, states:
Humanity we are already here, among you. Some of us have always been here, with you, but apart from that, we have watched you and occasionally guided you when the opportunity arose. Now, however, we have increased our numbers in preparation for another step in the evolution of your planet: A step of which you are not yet aware.
We have been confused with the gods of many world religions, although we are not gods but your fellow creatures.
You will find records of our presence in the mysterious symbols of ancient Egypt, where we last showed ourselves to humans to accomplish our goals.
Our main symbol appears in the religious art of your present civilization and occupies an important position on the flags of your countries.
It was kept in certain secret societies that were originally founded to keep alive the knowledge of our existence and our intentions towards humanity.
We have left you certain landmarks which have been carefully placed in various parts of this world.
Most famously in Egypt, however, where we established our headquarters on the occasion of our last public appearance, at which time the foundations of your present civilization were laid.
The oldest of your most famous landmarks were erected by means that seem as miraculous to you today as they did to the people before the Egyptians so many thousands of years ago.
Appeared your ancestors knew us then as teachers and as friends now by your own efforts you have come of age and reached a new step on the long ladder of your liberation.
Our watchful inspiration has constantly helped you and only you yourselves have hindered your physical and moral development.
Some of you have already seen our ‘guardians’. They have often met you on the streets of your cities, but you have not noticed us.
You have recently achieved the means to destroy yourselves. But do not be hasty in your self-congratulation. Your civilization is not the first civilization to have achieved and used such means. Nor will you be the first to be offered these means to prevent this destruction and then, in the full splendor of your accumulated knowledge, establish an era of enlightenment on Earth.
You wonder about the people among you who open their mouths and tell what they have seen. They are called deceivers and fools. But they are actually prophets. The seers in the truest sense of the word.
One of you says he saw a torpedo-shaped object. Others report seeing disc-shaped objects, while others report seeing spherical objects or plate-like objects.
They all report correctly and accurately what they have seen, and in most cases they describe the same type of craft.
We fly over hilltops in level flight. So you see a torpedo-shaped object. We fly over the earth Information so you see a triangle. Or we fly at night and our engine lights up and you just see fast dots hovering over the night sky
In either case, you can see us. And we don’t care. If we chose to become completely visible, we could do so with ease.
But you will have to get used to our form in the sky, because one day this form in the sky will be familiar, friendly and reassuring to you. If you still fail, like other civilizations before you, your children, in the symbols of time past, will only be able to guess at your failure.
This is the cycle of forgetting.
