It’s currently 2:01 a.m. in Pattaya, Thailand. Another UFO over Pattaya: I woke up—no idea why. I went out onto the balcony to smoke a cigarette. Then I saw it.
That’s when I noticed something entering my field of vision from above on my left. Since I was looking in that direction anyway, I was able to see it. It was flying completely silently, which is why I hadn’t noticed it before—there was no sound at all. It was also flying significantly slower than during my last sighting.
I’d say it flew from “The Sanctuary of Truth” (that is, from the direction of the sea) toward “Map Prachan Reservoir Park.”
Since I only saw it from behind, I can provide the following description: Two lights were visible on the left and right; they were not pure white, but slightly yellowish. In the middle, a red light was flashing at regular intervals.
Since the flashing red light was located between the large yellowish lights, it was not a position light.
I spent a lot of time trying to find a matching object based on the limited data—and I think I succeeded (see photo). The yellow lights are actually three lights attached to the three corners of the object, though not on the underside, but in the vertical area of the corners.
That is why only two yellowish lights were visible from the rear (rear view). The red flashing light is mounted in the center of the underside and is therefore definitely not a navigation light. This is also evident from the fact that the green navigation light is missing, which would normally be present for navigation lights (starboard and port).
