On September 26, 2026, at 9:11 PM, I recorded these moving lights within a cloud formation in the night sky over Pattaya, from Pattaya Naklua.
A party spotlight directed into the sky can be ruled out. At that time, Thailand was experiencing heavy rainfall. Parts of Pattaya were under up to one and a half meters of floodwater, and the eastern part of Bangkok was almost completely flooded as well. We do not even need to mention the other provinces and rural areas. Any installation that could have produced such lights was definitely not in operation at that time.
Furthermore, it can be seen that the light points were not projected onto the cloud from the outside, but were moving within the cloud itself. The cloud also caused repeated occlusions and distortions, making the lights disappear in certain areas from time to time. The lights moved in a circular pattern within the cloud. It appeared as though only the front section of a circular object, with its lights, was visible, while the lights on the rear side were obscured. This is likely what created the impression of a semicircle.
As you can hear from the audio recording, only the normal ambient sounds are present. There are no sounds whatsoever that would suggest an engine, motor, or any type of propulsion system. I would even say that the object was completely silent. Furthermore, strong winds caused by the monsoon storms were affecting Thailand at the time. Nevertheless, the object itself did not appear to move.
I can’t tell you what it was—but I do have an idea. However, I can tell you with a high degree of certainty what it was not: it was neither an airplane nor a helicopter, not a weather balloon—and certainly not a submarine…
